What .308 rifle should I get?

I am wanting a .308 for hunting deer, coyote, hog, and other various game. I want a bolt action, has a detachable magazine, and has a good set of iron sights standard. I have heard good things about the Ruger Gunsite Scout and this rifle meets my specifications. Is this a good, tough, reliable rifle and is it a good choice? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
