My guinea pig just died now what?

Well around 30 minuets ago I came into my bedroom to find my sweet guinea pig pumpkin curled up all cute in the same position as I found him as I woke up this morning I just had my uncle take his body away and I just stopes crying so what now??? He was 6 years old but I had him for 2 years so I'm curious what do I do with his large cage everything is left how he left it o and I'm sorry for any misspellings I'm starting to cry a bit this is hard for me I'm 13 and not sure what to do next my aunt is letting me stay home from school tomorrow so I will clean his cage out so what's my next step my sisters husband who gave me the guinea pig as a present says I may have his ferret but I'm not sure I'm quite ready ... what's my next step and all his pets like the guinea pig and ferrets are extremely sweet but ferret are smelly and I'm not quite ready to leave pumpkin behind... Should I move on or what please I'm despritly lost iv never had only lost a pet once and it was my dog and I got another dog to ease the pain which worked so yea... Would getting this ferrret be a good idea or should I wait???
