My cat went missing five months ago :(?

My cat of 11 years went missing today five months ago :( and I still feel really sad! He was like my son it hurts me because I don't know what happen to him. I have lived in the same place for 15 years so the neighbors knew him he was an indoor cat but once in a while he would go outside and always come back the same day. He was really familiar with the area. When he went missing right away I went to the shelter everyday for two months I put flyers up offering $500.00 all over I went into the neighborhood looking for him I even looked around the streets to see if maybe a car had maybe hit him and I never found him :( I still cry it hurts me so much :( I live in east los Angeles ca so there is no coyotes here I don't know what to do anymore my cat was neutared ;(
