Could my gun kill a fox/coyote?

i have a benjamin trail np (500 fps) with crosman.22 pointed pellets (14.3 grains) and will be shooting from 10-20 feet away. i just shot two birds yesterday and threw them in the bush and today i went to check if they were there but all that was left was feathers and today will i was hunting i saw a coyote/fox so i was wondering if i can but out a bird and wait till he comes tehn shoot him. and we also have fox problems in our town and i live in the contry.
